One of three capitals of the modern South Africa, Pretoria is rich in political history.

Volksrust

Proclaimed in 1889, one year after the Transvaal Goverment decided to establish a town near the natal border. Volksrust was also host to a British Concentration camp during the Second Anglo-Boer war.
